Michael Keaton is Batman again!

Who would have thought! This is the best news I’ve read for a long time! Michael Keaton… as Batman again… in The Flashpoint movie with Ezra Miller. I kinda liked Ezra Miller as The Flash in the Justice League movie. I’ve counted three good news here. First, The Flashpoint movie is still alive. Second, Ezra Miller is still The Flash. Third and most important of all, Michael Keaton is Batman again!

Another Console War 2021

PS5 or Xbox Series X? Personally, I don’t care. I’m not an early adopter so I would not be rushing out come holiday season to buy these new consoles. I still have a ton of backlog on my PS4 and Xbox One, not to mention countless more on my PS3 and Xbox 360. Plus, loads more on my PC (Thanks Steam sales!).

Star Wars Day Episode II

Episode III

2002 was the year. The movie — Episode II Attack of the Clones. And things are all good again in the galaxy. I enjoyed Episode II! With exciting space battles, a plot that was going along fine and best of all, less of that annoying Gungan. Just one thing that perplexed me, though. How did Anakin grow up so fast? In Episode I, he was still a kid and Amidala was in her teens. Now in Episode II they were both in their teens. How? Midi-chlorians gave him a growth spurt perhaps?

Star Wars Day Episode I

Episode V

Love and hate. That sums up my relationship with Star Wars. I have loved the original trilogy since I was a kid. It was 1980 and I remember me and my Dad watching Empire Strikes Back on the big screen. I was amazed. I was enthralled. I didn’t take any bathroom breaks. I was equally shocked and confused when Darth Vader said that he was Luke’s father. How can that be? But never mind what he said but from that day onwards, Darth Vader has been my favorite villain and I’ve longed to have a lightsaber of my own.

REVIEW: Knives Out

Being in a lockdown gives me ample opportunities to catch up on movies and shows. Last night, we watched Knives Out. Directed by Rian Johnson (whom Star Wars fans will surely know) with a great ensemble cast that includes Daniel Craig, Chris Evans, Ana de Armas, Jamie Lee Curtis, Don Johnson, Michael Shannon and Christopher Plummer.

The Phantom of the Opera, 25th Anniversary

Thanks to Andrew Lloyd Webber’s YouTube channel, The Shows Must Go On!, we were able to watch the 25th Anniversary of The Phantom of the Opera held at the Royal Albert Hall. Sadly, as of this writing, it’s no longer available since the shows are just up for 48 hours.
