Big Boys Toys 2019

Big Boys Toys is NZ’s annual iconic lifestyle show and my friend and I has been attending this event each year. I’m not sure if this year’s event will be cancelled due to COVID-19. Hopefully not.

Office 365 will be Microsoft 365

For most, this bit of news might just fly under their radar, but for me it’s the end of an era. I’ve been a long-time user of this product, from way back in 1995. It was called Office 95 then. Running on my then brand new Windows 95. It was a game changer for me. I’ve stopped using WordStar once I’ve started using Microsoft Word and I’ve stopped using Lotus 1-2-3 once I’ve started using Microsof Excel. The good old days.

Lockdown should help us to be more appreciative

How true the old adage that goes, “You don’t know what you have until it’s gone.” This hits hard more so now since we’re in a lockdown. Missing the cinema

One of the things I miss since the lockdown started is going to the cinema. I’m a big cinephile and I make it a point to watch every big release on the big screen. Since I was a kid, going to the cinema is something I take seriously. When I like the movie, I’m totally glued to the screen. No bathroom breaks and popcorn munching for me. I try to catch each and every dialog for each and every scene. I can only relax after the movie. That’s how serious of a movie watcher I am.

Batman: White Knight

Comixology is my go to online store when buying digital comics. They always have these weekly sales where you can buy comics at great discounts. Thanks to the lockdown I now have time to read my digital collection. I’ve been reading comics for a long time now and I thought I’ve seen and read them all, until I stumbled upon Batman: White Knight. This is not your ordinary Batman story and it’s one of the best that I’ve read.
